Iulia Stroe

Iulia graduated from Faculty of Law – University of Bucharest in June 2017. Soon after becoming a member of the Bucharest Bar in September 2017, she joined the litigation & arbitration team within Răzvan Dincă & Asociații.

Later, in June 2023, she successfully completed her Masters of Laws – LL.M. – International Arbitration at University of Bucharest.

Iulia’s recent professional experience chiefly comprises of:

• successfully representing a major Romanian commercial bank in a complex litigation concerning tortious liability, that spanned over almost 10 years and that presupposed dealing with thorny factual and legal issues.
• representing the industry leader in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Solutions for financial institutions in Romania, in a complex litigation regarding an alleged infringement of software copyright, which was initiated by one of the main competitors of the client.
• assisting and representing a prominent actor on software development market, in a tort lawsuit brought against the shareholders of an offshore company, which is one of the contractual partners of the client.
• successfully representing a Romanian airline company in a multi-faceted competition litigation initiated against one of its major competitors.
• successfully representing a major Romanian commercial bank in a multi-million litigation concerning breach of contract and also in a satellite-dispute pertaining to the annulment of a legal act.
• representing one of the most salient players on the Romanian food products market in a lawsuit that was brought by the client against a non-profit organisation in relation to a series of defamatory actions and allegations of the said non-profit organisation that were directed to the client and to a Protected Geographical Indication.
• representing a major Romanian nonbank financial institution in several complex labour disputes.
• assisting and representing one of the biggest academic institutions in Romania in a series of administrative disputes.
• representing a major player in the energy sector in the context of two litigations pertaining a power purchase agreement concluded with another relevant player in the same sector.
• assisting a major Romanian bank in the process of purchasing of a core banking system.
